And note: the reference to the Nazis is neither unintentional or taken lightly—while I do not attribute to the North Koreans the global ambitions of Nazi Germany, I do think that ideologically the Kim regime is the closest thing we have today to the Third Reich.
What I wonder is this: the Korean article about Obama is immeasurably more offensive than the English language piece, although the latter was already despicable.
Marcus Noland: "I do not attribute to the North Koreans the global ambitions of Nazi Germany." Roland: "The Third Reich wanted to conquer the world. " I'm guessing, Roland, you don't mean Russia or China because they will probably be satisfied grabbing only some land from their neighbors, and since Marcus already excluded the North Koreans, you must be thinking of various jihadi groups, right?
They're the only ones who openly admit to it, anyway.
By now anyone who reads this blog is probably already aware of the last North Korean outburst, this one describing President Obama as “a crossbreed with unclear blood” who “does not even have the basic appearances of a human being…[He] still has the figure of a monkey while the human race has evolved through millions of years.” And just to give themselves a bit of plausible deniability, KCNA conjured up some man-on-the-street to whom it could attribute this last gem: “It would be perfect for Obama to live with a group of monkeys in the world’s largest African natural zoo and lick the breadcrumbs thrown by spectators.” Sweet.
