I don't know what the heck is going on, but heres the deal.
I have the server setup for forward to bellsouth's DNS servers. I have set the primary DNS Suffix of the server to be DNS is not working properly :) I'm not a wizard at DNS so I need some help. I bring a new computer onto the network (vmware based) and it's PTR record immediatly shows up in the reverse zone.
PTR records, also sometimes called reverse DNS lookup or r DNS, are needed for specific server types like email servers, and other host verification purposes.
It is possible to setup PTR records for IPv4 addresses in Dream Compute, however IPv6 r DNS is not available at this time.

I have a small network with DNS/DHCP server that is in a workgroup called "workgroup" As you can see by the screenshot I have the zone named "kickrocks.com" and a reverse zone for the 192.168.1.x network.
When pinging a website or IP address, one part of the output is the server’s RDNS record.
