Joblings saw its potential and secured the licence to make and sell it across the Empire. Since the 1920's millions of casseroles, bowls, dinner services and measuring jugs have been churned out at the Joblings factory in Millfield.

It was occupied by the army during World War II and latterly by glassware makers, J A Joblings.

Today, parts of the building are residential and some areas are used as workshops and offices.

It is in need of urgent repairs as well as longer term maintenance.
